Costco Wholesale Corporation (NASDAQ: COST) is scheduled to report the fiscal fourth quarter earnings on Thursday, October 3, 2019 after the closing bell and the bullish analysts expect solid results. Moreover, analysts are confident there’s space for plenty more warehouse locations, than Costco Corporation currently has.
The August sales report, that issued on September 5, Costco operates 783 locations around the world, according to that, which includes 544 in U.S. and the 100 in Canada. There are also e-commerce businesses in United States, Canada, Mexico, the U.K., South Korea and Taiwan.
The analysts led by Budd Bugatch at Raymond James say that the investor conversations have focused on more locations, along with the plenty of room for growth in both domestically and internationally.
California is among Costco’s most dense markets, Analysts say, with almost 130 locations, or about one warehouse for every 100,000 households. There are only 28 locations, in Florida or one for about every 275,000 households. In Texas, there are 33 warehouses that represent one for every 295,000 households.
