The Assistant is an American film of Kitty Green. The film’s premiere released at the Telluride Film Festival on 30th August 2019.
Now the release date has confirmed. This film will release on 31st January 2020 by Bleecker Street.

In the film, leading characters are Julia Garner, Matthew Macfadyen, Noah Robbins, Kristine Froseth, Makenzie Leigh, Dagmara Domińczyk, and Purva Bedi.
The story follows a college student Jane who graduated recently. Sheis also a film production and landed her dream job as a junior assistant. Her day is similar to other assistants such as making coffee, lunch ordering and arrangement of travel accommodations.
She follows her daily routine and aware of the abuse, an accumulation of degradations against that decides to take the stand.
